Dissolve Music is a series of events that aim to build the community of people interested in using sound and music to dissolve inequalities.
Combining art and scholarship in a spirit of dialogue and controversy, the conference aims to dissolve boundaries between different arenas of sonic engagement to identify paths towards alternative, more inclusive futures.
Dissolve Music 2021 happened on the backs of recently coming out of COVID-19 restrictions. We set up the d&b Soundscape at an artist
warehouse located in Natick, and dubbed it "Don't Call It A Comeback" Dissolve Dance Party.
Each series of Dissolve aims to create social, sonic experiences that encourage us to listen in all directions, hear voices from the margins, and recognize our unique roles for acting in the world.
