When all the museums got shut down during the pandemic, my wife and I worked together to make art accessible by creating a public-viewing AR art gallery. The project got funded by Somernova Art Project. Blank art frames viewed through a smartphone activates artworks and music from local artists to pop out, paired for viewing/listening.. Hitting the refresh button rotates the art, allowing the viewer to experience new art each time. The project gained excitement and garnered attention, including the Somerville Museum, which also contributed works from their archives and artworks for the gallery.
